Conformed – molded, fashioned, squeezed by external forces into a predetermined shape.
World – the surrounding culture, thinking, assumptions of the current age in society. The world's way of operation, life and relating to others as the counterfeit of God's ways.
Transformed – metamorphosis, the very same Greek word used to describe what happened to Jesus when He was transfigured before three of His disciples on a mountain and spoke with Moses and Elijah.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)
Renew – to continually renovate, to bring in freshness.
Mind – the intellect, understanding, perceptions, assumptions, outlook.
Prove – test, try out, discern by personal experience.
Will of God – desire, choice, strong preference, wish, intention, delight.
Good – beautiful, beneficial, valuable, honest.
Acceptable – fully agreeable, well-pleasing, reasonable.
Perfect – complete, matured, fully developed, completeness of character.
